Brigadier General Md Shakhawat Hossain, ndu, psc, (LPR)

Brigadier General Shakhawat has completed an illustrious military career of 34 years, with a blend of command, staff and instructional experiences, including multiple United Nations missions across the globe. During his illustrious career, he successfully played significant leadership role in the field of operations, planning, training and administration of military outfits both at home and abroad.

He acquired his Masters Degrees from (a) Master of Strategic and International Studies from National Defense University, Beijing, China (b) MBA from American International University Bangladesh and (c) Master of Defense Studies from National University, Bangladesh. He also graduated from Defense Services Command and Staff College, Mirpur Bangladesh.

He displayed his excellent business skills as DG of Sena Kalyan Sangstha (SKS). SKS, being a big business enterprise with 29 different business ventures/ industries, provided him an outstanding scope to learn from multidimensional business challenges. He also performed as Director of Sena Kalyan Construction and Development (SKCD) Ltd, which has given him an insight of construction business in details. During his tenure, SKCD had 21 projects running at a time. With this knowledge in the fields of construction and development, he has under taken the start-up venture of this company.
